Dr. Paul M. Lea
Dr. Lea comes to VFA Qatar after serving four years as Dean of the Academy at Valley Forge Military Academy (VFMA) where he ran the schoolhouse for all boys ranging from 7th to 12th grade. Prior to VFMA Dr. Lea served as Assistant Dean of Engineering and as Associate Professor of Biology at Northern Virginia Community College where he taught for nine years. His time as a senior administrator, military officer, published research scientist, teacher, administrator and entrepreneur provides a solid foundation to hold successful careers in academia, government and industry.
Dr. Lea completed his Post-Doctorate education at Georgetown University in the Neuroscience Department, his Ph.D in Human Anatomy and Physiology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and an MS in Biology from Villanova University. Prior to his BS in Biology at Cabrini University, Dr. Lea attended Valley Forge Military Academy and College for six years earning his high school diploma and his AA degree in Liberal Arts. He attended VFMAC’s Early Commission Program which allowed him to also commission into the US Army as a Second Lieutenant. Dr. Lea’s educational experience at VFMAC and beyond will help VFA-Qatar implement our five fundamental cornerstones: Academic Excellence, Character Development, Leadership, Physical Development and Personal Motivation.

Dr. Lea is an accomplished professional recognized as a vital leader in the overall success of multiple projects. He comes to Qatar with a firm belief and understanding that investing time and energy in helping your sons become the future leaders of tomorrow will pay positive dividends to the future of Qatar and the international community.
